She has been working in the accounting and taxation profession since 1991 and began her career with the South African Revenue Service as a VAT and multi-skilled auditor before joining Silvis & Silvis in 2002. Nedelene holds diplomas in Internal Auditing and a degree in Taxation, and brings over three decades of practical experience in accounting services, taxation, advisory, and financial reporting. She oversees the firm’s professional standards, technical quality, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that clients receive accurate, compliant, and practical advice in an ever-changing regulatory environment.
Carli Visagie

Carli has been part of the DRCR team for almost 20 years. She holds a National Diploma in Financial Management and is registered with SAIT. Tercia Wiehahn

Tercia is a BCom graduate from the University of Stellenbosch with over 17 years’ experience in VAT, accounting, and income tax. She is a member of the South African Institute of Tax Professionals and CIBA, holding the Chartered Business Accountant in Practice (CBAP) designation. In addition to her technical role, Tercia serves as Office Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and workflow coordination, ensuring consistency, quality control, and smooth service delivery across the firm.

Menno Silvis

Menno joined the DRCR team at the start of 2019 and has progressed from an administrative role to Payroll Administrator. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of payroll processing and related statutory submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Menno is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration through MANCOSA, further strengthening his technical knowledge and practical expertise.
Warren Dodgen

Warren is a senior tax and accounting professional with over 20 years’ experience across tax compliance, financial statements, expatriate tax, and client advisory. He has worked in both professional services firms and corporate banking environments, including roles at Ernst & Young, Nexia, and Nedbank. Warren specialises in income tax, VAT, provisional tax, and SARS engagements, and is known for his strong client-relationship management and mentoring of junior staff.
Liza-Mari Smit

Liza-Mari joined the DRCR team in October 2023. She completed her SAIPA articles and studied towards a BCom Accounting Sciences degree through UNISA. With over nine years of experience in the tax and accounting industry, she brings solid technical knowledge and practical experience in supporting clients with their accounting and tax compliance needs.

She holds an Advanced Certificate in Taxation and is a recognised tax practitioner. Samantha is a registered tax practitioner and a member of CIBA, holding the Chartered Business Accountant in Practice (CBAP) designation, and provides clients with reliable, detail-focused tax and accounting support.
